Taiwan Industrial Park , situated in the eastern part of Zhenjiang Economic Development Zone, was established in November, 2001, with a total planned area of 4 square kilometers. So far, nearly 50 million yuan(RMB) has been invested in infrastructure construction, such as roads, water supply and sewerage, power supply, drainage system, telecommunications system, steam, LPG, etc. In the light of the characteristics of investment from Taiwan medium and small-sized enterprises, this park goes its way to optimize the expropriation of land and basic facilities to meet the actual needs of Taiwan medium and small-sized enterprises. At present, quite a number of Taiwan-invested enterprises have settled in the Park. An industrial structure featuring machinery casting, electronic instruments and meters, building materials, light industry, etc.
