Electro-mechanical Science and Technology Park & Dagang Private Industrial Park is located in the eastern part of Zhenjiang Economic Development Zone, with a total planned area of 10.8 square kilometers. Now in the developed 5 square kilometer area, roads, water supply and sewerage, power supply, drainage system, telecommunications system, steam, LPG, etc. are available; 6,000 square kilometers of standard workshops are built. Electro-mechanical Science and Technology Park is designed and constructed with the guidance of ideas of the third-generation industrial parks. The goal is to build it into a garden-like industrial park with automobile spare parts and accessories and electro-mechanical industry as its pillar industries. The focus will be put on developing such industries as machinery, electronics, light industry, automobile spare parts and accessories, etc. In view of the existing manufacturing enterprises in Zhenjiang Economic Development Zone, Dagang Private Industrial Park is aimed at developing the advantage of forming complementary industry chains by introducing professional up-stream and down-stream supporting enterprises. The preferential policies and efficient services provide an excellent external environment for the development of privately-owned enterprises.

At present, such foreign enterprises as Zhenjiang Cablelettra Components Co., Ltd. from Italy , Guang Tong Science and Technology Company from Taiwan and Hai Run Investment Development Company have invested and set up their own businesses in the park, with a total investment of about USD43.306 million. Besides, a number of domestic enterprises, such as Yuyong Fine Machinery Co. Ltd. and Qia'erna Package Co. Ltd., have also entered this park.
