This park was established in August, 2002, with a total planned area of 1.5 square kilometers. In 2002, it was approved by the State Government as “Zhenjiang Optoelectronics and Communications Component R & D Industrial Base for the National Torch Project”. Such parts of infrastructure as roads, water supply, power supply, drainage system, communication system, steam, gas, etc. are available. The first-phase 30,000 square meters of standard workshops have been completed mainly for developing high and new tech industries of opto-electronics and communications components. At present, this park has drawn attention from various famous optol-electronic enterprises from all over the world.
