Zhenjiang New Area supplies clients with canned liquefied petrol gas as well as liquefied pipelined gas. The project of “Carrying Gas from the West to the East” will soon be able to provide sufficient natural gas for Zhenjiang New Area. Natural gas pipeline network in Zhenjiang New Area will be in place once and for all.

The daily LPG production capacity of Zhenjiang Gas Company is 100,000 cubic meters. The peak production capacity is 10,000 cubic meters per hour and the pipeline network pressure is 2 kg/cm2. The main component of the gas supplied is propane, accounting for over 60% of the components in the gas supplied. Other components are propylene, butane and butylenes.

Pure liquefied natural gas with a heat value of 2.4 kcal per standard cubic meter is also available in Dagang District.

Artificial gas (air-mixed liquefied gas) with a heat value of 1.2 kcal per standard cubic meter is available in Dingmao District.

Canned liquefied petrol gas supplied by Total-Fina-Elf Company is also available to enterprises in Zhenjiang New Area. The total storage capacity of this company adds up to 5,020 tons and its annual gas supply capacity is as high as 100,000 cubic meters.

All the LPG facilities are under the care of gas companies.
