Mode of power supply
Power consumption has been fully popularized throughout urban and rural areas in Zhenjiang . The total installed capacity of all the power plants within the territory of Zhenjiang adds up to 2.045 million kilowatt. The biggest thermal power plant in East China (Jianbi Thermal Power Plant with a total installed capacity of 2.825 million kilowatt) is adjacent to Zhenjiang New Area. At present, three electricity networks of different grades have been constituted: 110 KV, 35 KV, 10 KV. In view of the increasing of power consumption in the coming ten years, all the converting stations have put aside master variable capacity and outlets intervals.
Power supply ability
Electricity is available everywhere in Zhenjiang New Area. 10 KV double circuits are laid along all the major roads and in all the industrial zones. A looped network of all the 10 KV circuits has been formed and electric loads can be mutually converted between converting stations. The electricity distribution network is very flexible as well as reliable. In Zhenjiang New Area, double circuit power supply mode is adopted to ensure unremitting power supply and the reliability of enterprise power consumption. Zhenjiang New Area has established three 110 KV power substations and two 220 KV power substations. The total power supply capacity of the electricity network in Zhenjiang New Area amounts to ´.KVA and the annual volume of power supply is up to 307.80 million kilowatt-hour. In Dagang District, there is a 220 KV converting station and two 110 KV converting stations (In one of them, there are two 315 MVA main transformers. In the other converting station, there is one 400 MVA main transformer.). The total annual volume of power supply is up to 300 million kilowatt-hour. In Dingmao District, there is a 220 KV converting station (with two 120 MKVA main transformers) and a 110 KV converting station (with a 315 MVA main transformer). The total annual volume of power supply is up to 7.8 million kilowatt-hour.
Technical parameters
Power supply frequency: 50 Hz + 0.2 Hz. 10 KV circuit is adopted to supply power for clients whose total installed capacity of transformers exceeds 100 KVA. Variation range of power supply voltage: not exceeding + 2% of the rated voltage.
Management of facilities
Concerning power supply facilities, decentralized administration at different levels is adopted. The domain of maintenance and management of power supply facilities is divided according to property rights. Clients are responsible for the electric wires needed and the electricity lost in the process of transformation within their domain of maintenance and management of power supply facilities while power supply departments are responsible for the rest of electric wires need and electricity lost in the process of transformation.
